titleOfInvention Endoprosthesis and delivery system for delivering the endoprosthesis within a vessel of a patient
abstract An endoprosthesis (10) is disclosed for implantation at a bifurcation between a main vessel and at least two secondary vessels. The endoprosthesis (10) includes first and second bodies (20,70). Each body (20, 70) includes a self-expanding and flexible structure having a proximal region (24, 74), an intermediate region (26, 76), and a distal region (28,78). The distal region (28,78) terminates at a free end (34,75). The flexible structure defines a leg and a support member adjacent to the leg. The leg terminates at the free end (34,75) of the distal region (28,78). The second body (70) is positioned within the first body (20). The proximal region (24, 74) of the first body includes a free end (34,75) configured for positioning within the main vessel. The leg of the first body (20) is configured for positioning within a first secondary vessel. The leg of the second body (70) is configured for positioning within a second secondary vessel.
