titleOfInvention | Coating means comprising composite particles |
abstract | The invention relates to a coating means in the form of an aqueous composition comprising: 25 to 55 wt % composite particles having an average particle size of 50 to 350 nm in the form of an aqueous dispersion, which are built from 20 to 60 wt % relative to the composite particles of inorganic solids having an average particle size of 5 to 100 nm, 40 to 80 wt % relative to the composite particles of a polymer matrix having a Tg in the range from -60 to +40°C, which is obtainable by radical emulsion polymerization of at least one ethylenic unsaturated monomer and 20 to 50 wt % of fillers, wherein 5 to 40 wt % relative to the total solid content are selected among aluminum silicates, borosilicate glasses, polymethylmethacrylate particles and polystyrol particles, 1 to 30 wt % of pigments and 0 to 5 wt % of one or more thickening agents, and 0.1 to 20 wt % of additional auxiliaries each relative to the total solid content, and to the use thereof for coating surfaces, objects, substrates and foundations having permanent water contact, in particular with swimming pool water. |
