titleOfInvention Graft fenestration fabric
abstract The present invention provides a graft fabric adapted for fenestration, wherein an area of the graft is reinforced by a mesh comprising an arrangement of strands, characterised in that the strands forming the mesh are woven or knitted into the fabric itself during construction. During fenestration, the edges of the tear are limited to the open area of the mesh and propagation of tears in the fabric is resisted.
