abstract | A photograph classification unit (30) in a music feature information determination unit (18) classifies photographs by scene when photograph data specified by a user comprises a plurality of photographs. A photograph feature acquisition unit (32) determines the features of a single photograph that is subject to photograph classification or processing, in accordance with additional information of the photograph and image face recognition results. A preference setting unit (45) of a music feature determination unit (34) sets the attributes of music that corresponds with the preferences of the user. A tempo determination unit (46) determines the tempo of the music from the time at which the photograph was taken, the number of people in the photograph, the degree to which the people in the photograph are smiling, and the behaviour of the people in the photograph, etc. A melody determination unit (48) determines information, feature values, genre, etc. which narrow down music titles, from the event, time, season, photographed town, country, etc. when the photograph was taken. A music data output unit (20) extracts corresponding music by using the features of the music determined, and presents the corresponding music. |
