The present invention relates to a method for producing a nanoporous foam, wherein a monomer component (A), comprising a multifunctional isocyanate (A1) and a solvent (C), is prepared and the monomer component (A) is brought into contact with water vapor. The present invention further comprises a nanoporous foam, which can be obtained according to such a method, and to a nanofoam composite, which can be obtained by applying the monomer component (A) to a carrier (B) before being brought into contact with the water vapor. The nanofoam composite can be used as insulation material for thermal or sound insulation, as filter material, or as a catalyst carrier. |
