abstract Resuscitation device for humans comprising: n- a sensor for detecting a number of parameter values in a human being; n- at least one memory for storing a predetermined function and a number of detected parameter values; n- at least one processing unit connected with the sensor and the memory for processing the number of detected parameter values in the predetermined function to determine whether the human being is in a state of developing apnoea; n- a response device connected with the processing unit for providing a response as a function of the number of processed parameter values by the at least one processing unit when the at least one processing unit has determined that the human being is in the state of developing apnoea. n The resuscitation device is an apparatus comprising both the sensor, the memory, the at least one processing unit and the response device, the apparatus being arranged to be attached under a human's nose, the sensor being arranged to sense breathing activity, and the response device comprising a stimulation device designed to provoke an induced aspiration reflex by a resuscitating stimulation of the respiratory area of the human brain stem by providing a stimulus to a nasal filter of the human being.
