abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for adaptation of a Force-to-Torque-characteristic for a launch clutch (124) in a vehicle comprising first (101) and second (102) vehicle propelling machines. Both of said vehicle propelling machines being operably coupled to wheels of said vehicle for propelling said vehicle, the method comprising the steps of: n- propelling said vehicle by said second vehicle propelling machine (102), n- said launch clutch (124) being disengaged such that said first vehicle propelling machine (101) is disengaged from propelling the vehicle, n- initiating reengation of said launch clutch (124) such that said first vehicle propelling machine (101) is starting to propel said vehicle until at least one of a rotation of said first vehicle propelling machine (101) or a change in output torque or output speed in said second vehicle propelling machine (102) is observed, n- recording a force value at this instant acting on said launch clutch (124) for engagement/disengagement thereof, and n- adapting said Force-to-Torque-characteristic such that said force value is used at a torque value of zero. |
