The invention relates to a detection device (100) for detecting a blood image parameter of blood in a blood vessel (102), having an electrical lead arrangement (104) which is dielectrically coupled to the blood vessel (102), a network analyzer (106) for exciting the electrical lead arrangement (104) such that an electro-magnetic field (108) emanates from the electrical lead assembly (104) and for detecting a change in the electro-magnetic field (108) upon dielectric loading of the electrical lead assembly (104) with the blood vessel (102 and detecting the blood image parameter based on the detected change in the electromagnetic field (108). |
