An aluminium magnesium titanate composite ceramic which comprising the firing raw materials, as expressed on a weight percent oxide basis, 36.0-57.0 % of TiO 2 ; 41.5-62.0 % of Al 2 O 3 ; and 0-2.2 % of MgO, with the sum total of the three components adding up to 100 %, and 0-10 % of SiO 2 , for forming particulate filters, with a relatively high porosity, low thermal expansion efficiency (CTE), and high mechanical strength. |
