The present invention is to provide a solar cell backside sealing film comprising ethylene-polar monomer copolymer as a chief ingredient, a crosslinker giving crosslinked structure and a colorant, which is free from reduction of electrical insulation properties, and a solar cell using the sealing film. A solar cell sealing film comprises ethylene-polar monomer copolymer, a crosslinker and a colorant, and further contains a (meth)acrylate compound represented by the following formula (I):n nin which R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 represent H or CH 3 , and n is an integer of 9 to 14; and a solar cell using the sealing film as a backside sealing film. |
