Disclosed is a bishydroxyarylsiloxane compound. The bishydroxyarylsiloxane compound has a novel structure in which a particular moiety is introduced between siloxane blocks. Due to this structure, the physical properties of a copolymer of the bishydroxyarylsiloxane compound and a polymer can be tuned. Further disclosed is a method for preparing the bishydroxyarylsiloxane compound. |
