titleOfInvention Water treatment
abstract The present invention relates to a water treatment system and process, and in particular a water treatment system, comprising: at least one reverse osmosis filter (10) comprising an inlet, a reject outlet and a permeate outlet; at least one means for removing dissolved contaminants (30) comprising an inlet, a reject outlet and a permeate outlet; at least one solids removal unit (40) comprising an inlet, a reject outlet and a permeate outlet; wherein the reject outlet from the at least one reverse osmosis filter is in fluid communication with the inlet of the at least one means for removing dissolved contaminants, and the permeate outlet from the at least one means for removing dissolved contaminants is in fluid communication with the inlet of the at least one solids removal unit.
