abstract | The invention relates to a process for the dry reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel and a device for carrying out the process. In order to significantly reduce the cost of reprocessing, completely eliminate liquid radioactive waste from the process and improve the quality of the recycled fuel, a process is used to convert the spent nuclear fuel into different weight solid components in several process steps. The most important thing is that thanks to this process, the volume of radioactive waste is substantially reduced, i. from 100% to about 3%, reduced. |
