abstract The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a structure comprising a graphene sheet which is provided on one of its faces with a plurality of metal pads, these pads being separated from each other by a medium dielectric material selected from air and dielectric materials, which process comprises: a) the synthesis, by catalytic vapor phase growth, of the graphene sheet on a plurality of metal pads which are arranged on a membrane made of a dielectric material or integrated in this membrane, this growth being catalyzed by said metal pads; and eventually b) the elimination of said membrane. It also relates to the structure thus obtained as well as to the uses of this structure. Fields of application: micro- and nanoelectronics, micro- and nanoelectromechanics, spintronics, photovoltaics, LED display, etc.
