An object of the present invention is to provide a flame-retardant resin composition that supports a high productivity, that resists bleed out by a flame retardant present in the composition, that resists the migration of its components into ABS resin, that exhibits a high flame retardancy, and that exhibits a high flexibility. More specifically, disclosed is a resin composition comprising, based on the total content of components (A), (B), (C), and (D), the component (A), which a is polyphenylene ether, in a content <A> of 10 % by weight or more but less than 45 % by weight, a component (B), which is a hydrogenated copolymer principally comprising an aromatic vinyl monomer unit and a conjugated diene monomer unit, in a content of <B> of 20 % by weight or more, a component (C), which is a styrene resin and/or olefin resin, in a content <C> of 0 % by weight or more, and a component (D), which is a metal phosphinate, in a content (<D>) of 2 % by weight or more. |
