titleOfInvention | Antenna structure with improved signal/noise ratio |
abstract | The invention relates to an antenna structure having at least one insulating substrate (2-4), at least one conductive coating (6) which covers at least a portion of a surface of the substrate (2-4) and serves at least in sections as an area antenna for receiving electromagnetic waves. The antenna structure further comprises at least one first coupling electrode (10) electrically coupled to the conductive coating for coupling useful signals from the planar antenna, and at least one second coupling electrode (36, 36 ') electrically coupled to the conductive coating for coupling out interference signals from at least one interference source ( 39,39 ') from the surface antenna. The second coupling electrode (36, 36 ') can be electrically coupled to ground and either designed such that it is selectively permeable for a predeterminable frequency range and arranged close to the first coupling electrode (10). Alternatively, the second coupling electrode (36, 36 ') is arranged between a surface zone (42, 42') of the coating whose points have a shortest distance from the interference source (39, 39 ') and the first coupling electrode (10). Furthermore, the second coupling electrode (36, 36 ') is alternatively arranged near a surface zone (42, 42') of the coating, the points of which have a shortest distance from the interference source (39, 39 '). Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for operating such an antenna structure, in which, in particular, interference signals from the planar antenna are selectively coupled out via an electrical coupling to ground. |
