Stent graft and stent graft delivery system |
abstract |
A vascular repair device (1) includes a tubular graft body (10), a structural framework having at least two stents (20,30), a first of the stents being connected to the tubular graft body along an entirety of the first stent (20), a second of the stents having a shape that is a periodic waveform that defines proximal apices (32) having given radii of curvature and distal apices (34) having radii of curvature smaller than the given radii of curvature and the second stent (30) being connected to the tubular body at the distal apices. A delivery system (600) for endovascularly aligning and delivering the vascular repair device to an implantation site includes a handle having a distal portion and a vascular repair delivery assembly having an inner catheter (620) having a distal end and an interior extending along a longitudinal axis, wherein the inner catheter and extends from the distal portion of the handle, and an outer catheter (654) rotationally and longitudinally fixedly connected to the distal portion of the handle and slidably disposed about the inner catheter. The vascular repair device is disposed about the inner catheter and within the outer catheter in the delivery device. |
