titleOfInvention | Implantable device and prosthetic implant including at least one such device |
abstract | The invention relates to an implantable device (3, 4) that includes a first textile member (5) having first (5a) and second (5b) portions defining a given length (Lo) and a thread member (6, 13) for adjusting said length and connected in said first and second portions. Typically, the first textile member is tubular (5) and typically comprises a braid, and the thread member (6, 13) defines a first loop (7) externally surrounding the first tubular member (5) in said first portion (5a) and, as it passes inside the same, a second loop (8) externally surrounding the first tubular member (5) in said second portion (5b) so that a traction applied on at least one of the free ends of the thread member (6a, 6b) brings said first (5a) and second (5b) portions together and correlatively reduces the length between the first and second portions of the first textile member (5). |
