abstract |
To provide a method of preparing a lithographic printing plate which fulfils an excellent processing stability in that the occurrence of development scum is low and a developing property is well maintained at the time of running and can prepare a lithographic printing plate excellent in printing durability even in plate making of a lithographic printing plate including a development processing step which contains a step of removing a protective layer and the unexposed area of a photosensitive layer at the same time and does not contain a water washing step, the invention is directed to a method of preparing a lithographic printing plate which contains after exposing with laser a lithographic printing plate precursor comprising (i) a hydrophilic support, (ii) a photosensitive layer containing (A) a polymerization initiator, (B) a polymerizable compound, (C) a sensitizing dye and (D) a binder polymer and (iii) a protective layer containing (E) a polymer which contains a repeating unit having a specific structure in this order, a step of removing the protective layer and an unexposed area of the photosensitive layer at the same time in the presence of a developer containing a surfactant and does not contain a water washing step. |
