A flux-cored wire for gas-shielded arc welding as a whole contains, as its chemical composition based on the total mass of the wire, C: 0. 03 to 0.07 percent by mass, Si: 0. 10 to 0.50 percent by mass, Mn: 1.0 to 4.0 percent by mass, Ti : 0.06 to 0.30 percent by mass, Ni: 0.50 to 0.95 percent by mass, Mo: 0.01 to 0.30 percent by mass, B: 0.002 to 0.008 percent by mass, F: 0.05 to 0.40 percent by mass, and Fe: 85 to 93 percent by mass and has an Al content controlled to be 0.05 percent by mass or less. This wire shows good weldability and gives a weldmetal having satisfactory low-temperature toughness even when the weld metal has a low Ni content. |
