titleOfInvention | Information display panel drive method |
abstract | Provided is a method of driving an information display panel in which: at least two types of display media comprised of particle groups containing chargeable particles are sealed between opposed two substrates, at least one substrate being transparent; a voltage is applied across a pair of opposed pixel electrodes formed such that conductive films provided to the respective substrates face each other to move the display media, thereby displaying an information image, wherein, at the time of deleting the information image displayed on the information display panel, application of an alternating voltage and application of positive or negative voltage two or more cycles in a row are combined to delete the information image. With this method of driving an information display panel, it is possible to sufficiently delete a history of a previously displayed information image without causing the decrease in lifetime of display-rewriting and increase in power consumption. |
