The invention relates to a composition comprising a combination of a dimer-gallate and a trimer, useful as a medicament for the treatment and/or prevention of metabolic syndrome or of a pathology associated therewith, wherein the dimer-gallate is a procyanidin B-gallate, differing from B2-gallate, and the trimer is a procyanidin C. It also relates to the use of said composition in the preparation of a food, a food additive or a dietary supplement. |
