abstract The invention relates to a damper unit (1) consisting of two parts (2, 3), which are connected to rotate with one another and between which an axially, elastic element (7) is disposed. Such damper units are used particularly for axial dampening and for compensating a slight axial misalignment of shafts in drive trains.  To improve such damper units particularly with respect to their external diameter, it is proposed to act upon the axially effective energy storage device by means of a rotational movement of the two parts, forced thread-like by an axial impingement.
