abstract The invention relates to an apparatus for treating a portion of a human or animal body, comprising: a treatment dose delivering means (1) for delivering treatment doses to a portion of the human or animal body; a referencing means for spatially spotting and defining, in a predetermined reference system (Rt) and in the form of reference data (Pi), an area or a volume of the human or animal body to be treated; a locating means (2) for locating, in the form of location data (P'), the instantaneous position in said reference system (Rt) of the output (12a) of the treatment dose delivering means; an electronic control means (3) capable of recording said reference data (Pi) of at least one area or volume of the human or animal body, acquired using said referencing means, and capable of controlling a treatment using at least said reference data (Pi) and said location data (P') during a treatment.
