abstract Particle meter and method for analyzing particles with a metering device, wherein the metering device is vibrated by means of a vibration generator to transport particles present in the metering to at least one output of the metering device and thereby to separate. In addition to a first oscillation generator, a second different oscillation generator for separating the particles present in the metering device is provided. In this case, the second vibration generator generates higher-frequency vibrations than the first vibration generator.
