titleOfInvention Method and device for transferring satellite navigation data
abstract The invention relates to a method for transmitting satellite navigation data of a global navigation satellite system (1) to at least one end user device (2), simultaneously transmitting the satellite navigation data of the global navigation satellite system (1) and data of at least one geostationary satellite (3) to a plurality of terrestrial receiver stations, the satellite navigation data and the data of the geostationary satellite (3) are transmitted from the receiver stations to at least one data processing system and correction data for the satellite navigation data are calculated, whereupon the correction data is transmitted to the at least one end user device (2). According to the invention, the correction data are forwarded to at least one end user device (2) before being transmitted to at least one further data processing system (6), whereupon the correction data are decoded and improved by taking into account tropospheric and optionally ionospheric corrections, after which the improved correction data are included in a encoded by the at least one end user device (2) readable format and transmitted through a globally available communication link (7). Furthermore, the invention relates to a device (8) for carrying out such a method.
