titleOfInvention Optical module with folder formed by a transparent material/air dioptre
abstract The invention relates to a lighting module for a motor vehicle headlamp. The module comprises a first ellipsoidal half-plane reflector (2) with a light source (4) arranged at a first focus, a second ellipsoidal half-plane reflector (12) disposed in opposition to the first reflector, with a light source (14) disposed at the first focus of said reflector. A lens (10) is disposed on the optical axis (8) of the two reflectors (2, 12). A first blade (16) of transparent material is disposed transversely to the optical axis (8) so as to have a wafer at the optical axis (8). A second blade (18) of transparent material is disposed transversely to the optical axis (8) so as to present a slice vis-à-vis the edge of the first blade (16). A thin layer of air is provided between the slices of the blades so as to form two dioptres able to reflect the incident rays at an angle greater than the limit angle of refraction.
