titleOfInvention | Method for monitoring a flow of gas consumed from a cryogenic tank |
abstract | Process for monitoring a flow rate of gas (4) consumed from a cryogenic tank (1) storing the gas in liquefied form, said consumed gas being conveyed by a piping system (15) from the cryogenic tank (1) , the reservoir (1) comprising at least one bath (2) of said gas stored in liquid form, the bath (2) having a certain volume corresponding to a certain height (3) of liquid, in which it comprises at least the following steps at a plurality of times for a predetermined period of time, said height (3) is measured with a relative accuracy of at least one thousandth (1/10000) to obtain a series H of height measurements; and b) using values included in the series H obtained in step a) to calculate a series D of quantities of said gas comparable to flow rates, corresponding to variations in volume of said bath (2) during said predetermined period . |
