abstract | The invention describes a process for coating metal bands, which comprises the following process steps: (1) application of an aqueous primer coating composition (B) comprising at least one crosslinkable binder system (BM), at least one filler component (BF), at least one corrosion protection component (BK) and volatile constituents (BL) to the optionally cleaned metal surface, where the coating composition (B) has a content of organic solvents of not more than 15% by weight, based on the volatile constituents (BL) of the coating composition (B), (2) drying of the integrated pretreatment layer formed from the primer coating composition (B), (3) application of a topcoat layer (D) to the integrated pretreatment layer dried according to step (2) and (4) a joint curing of the layers of coating composition (B) and topcoat (D). |
