Varnishes with oxygen indicator function for coating or gluing and products produced with same |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a paint material comprising a matrix of an at least partially organic polymer and at least one component which are reactive to oxygen after suitable triggering. This component can indicate the presence of oxygen. The paint material is particularly suitable as a coating or as an adhesive. The invention further relates to a substrate provided with a coating of said paint material, a composite material of a plurality of layers, which have been bonded to this paint material, and to manufacturing processes therefor. In a particular embodiment, the matrix is formed from an inorganic-organic hybrid polymer; However, it can also be purely organic. The oxygen-reactive component may either be embedded in the matrix or covalently bound therein. |
