abstract | The invention relates to a method for producing a hypoallergenic and especially effective propolis extract, to the use of said extract, and to pharmaceutical compositions containing said extract. The method for obtaining an extract from a propolis raw material comprises the following steps: a) the propolis raw material is extracted by means of an organic extraction agent containing a solvent at a temperature higher than room temperature, b) the temperature of the solution obtained in step a) is lowered to room temperature, c) the insoluble substances formed in step b) are separated at room temperature, d) the temperature of the solution obtained in step c) is lowered to a lower temperature, e) the insoluble substances formed in step d) are separated, and f) the extraction agent is partially or fully removed. |
