abstract A rubber composition that can be used as a tread for a winter tyre, with high grip on melting ice, comprising at least one diene elastomer such as natural rubber and/or a polybutadiene, between 50 and 150 phe of a reinforcing filler such as silica and/or carbon black, more than 40 phe of a liquid plasticizer, between 1 and 30 phe of a non-ionic surfactant and between 5 and 40 phe of microparticles. The invention also relates to a winter tyre of which the tread comprises a composition according to the invention.
