titleOfInvention | Impact-resistant modified polycarbonate compositions with a good combination of raw talc, hydrolysis- and melt stability |
abstract | The present invention relates to polycarbonate compositions containing A) 10 to 99 wt%, each relative to the sum of components A+B+C, of aromatic polycarbonate and/or aromatic polyester carbonate, B) 1 to 35 wt%, each relative to the sum of components A+B+C, of rubber-modified graft polymerizate of B.1, 5 to 95wt% of at least one vinyl monomer to B.2, 95 to 5 wt% of one or more graft foundations with a glass transition temperature < 100C, C) 0 to 40 wt%, each relative to the sum of components A+B+C, of vinyl (co)polymerizate and/or polyalkylene terephthalate, D) 0 to 50 wt% each relative to the sum of components A+B+C, of phosphorus-containing flame retardant, E) 0 to 1.0 wt%, each relative to the sum of components A+B+C, of acid additive and F) 0 to 50 wt%, each relative to the sum of components A+B+C, of additives, wherein component B is obtained by reaction of component B. 1 with the graft foundation B.2 by means of emulsion polymerization with the proviso that for compositions which are free of components D) and E), the graft polymerizate dispersion has a pH value of less than 7 after spray drying or after precipitation, characterized in that in the graft reaction, 0.1 to 5 wt% (relative to the sum of parts by weight of used monomers B.1 and of the graft foundation B.2 = 100 wt%) of at least one emulsifier selected from the group consisting of alkali-, earth alkali-, ammonium- or phosphonium-salts of a saturated fatty acid with 10 to 50 carbon atoms is used, wherein the emulsifier remains or the emulsifiers remain in component B, and also a method for production of these polycarbonate compositions and the use of the polycarbonate compositions for production of shaped elements and the shaped element itself. |
