abstract The invention relates to a method for the production of flame-retardant, non-corrosive, easily flowable polyamides and polyesters, characterized in that a flame protection agent mixture made of a phosphinic acid salt of the formula (I), where M = AI, Mg, Ca, Ti, Na (component A), where R 1 , R 2 are the same or different, and C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, linear or branched, and/or aryl; n is 1 to 3, and a metal salt of an organic acid, and/or an inorganic zinc, calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, aluminum, titanium, tin, antimony, bismuth, or barium compound is used as component B, wherein component A is present in the flame protection agent mixture at 70-99.5% by weight and component B at 0.5-30% by weight.
