titleOfInvention | Polyamide elastomer |
abstract | A polyamide elastomer is disclosed, which contains at least one component of (a) 35 - 95 wt.-% hard segment units, synthesized from: (a1) aminoundecanic acid and/or (a2) azelainic acid and/or sebacinic acid and/or C36-dimer fatty acid and/or (a3) nonane diamine and/or decane diamine and/or (a4) caprolactam and/or aminocapronic acid and/or laurin lactam and/or amino lauric acid and/or (a5) aliphatic C6-C8- and/or C11-C18-diacid and/or terephthalic acid and/or isophthalic acid and/or (a6) aliphatic C4-C8- and/or C11-C18-diamine and/or m-xylylene diamine (MXD) and (b) 5 - 65 wt.-% soft segment units, synthesized from (b1) C36-dimer diol and/or (b2) polyester diols based on C36-dimer fatty acid and/or C36-dimer diol and/or (b3) polyether diol based on ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide and/or tetrahydrofuran and/or (b4) polyether diamine based on ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide and/or tetrahydrofuran, wherein the biobased content according to ASTM D6866-06a of at least one of these components of the polyamide elastomer makes up at least 50 wt.-%. Preferably, the entire polyamide elastomer including optionally provided further components has such a biobased content, and the sum of components (a1) to (a6) and (b1) to (b4) together results in 100 wt.-% and the sum of the components (a1) to (a3), (b1) and (b2) is greater than 50 wt.-%. To this end, the sum of the components (a1) to (a6) and (b1) to (b4) together results in 100 wt.-%, and the sum of the components (a1) to (a3), (b1) and (b2) is greater than 50 wt.-% and the ratio of the sum of (b1) and (b2) to the sum of (b1) to (b4) is greater than or equal to 0.2. Furthermore, a method for producing such a polyamide elastomer and granules or objects produced therefrom are disclosed. |
