Dispersion containing flame-resistant polymer, flame-resistant fiber, and carbon fiber |
abstract |
[PROBLEMS] To provide a dispersion containing a flame-resistant polymer, the dispersion being effective in improving flame-resistant polymer shaping stability during ejection from a die orifice and the physical stability of the shape in a cleaning step. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The dispersion containing a flame-resistant polymer is a dispersion comprising an organic solvent and a flame-resistant polymer dispersed therein, and is characterized by having an underwater tensile strength of 1.0-6.5 MPa per unit sectional area. The flame-resistant polymer preferably is one obtained by heating an acrylonitrile polymer in an organic solvent in the presence of at least one of acids, acid anhydrides, and acid chlorides. The organic solvent preferably is a polar organic solvent. |
