abstract | The invention relates to a transporter form for reactive metal particles, comprising metal particles and at least one coating produced of a material that does not enter into an oxidation reaction with the metal particles, in which coating the light metal particles are embedded and protected, and optionally other conventional additives, such as chain initiators, fillers and dyes. The invention also relates to a method for producing the transporter form, comprising the following steps: size-reducing the base metal to give metal particles or flakes in the presence of the coating agent and while coating the metal particles so produced with a protective layer; and optionally shaping transporter bodies using the coated metal particles/flakes. The invention finally relates to the use of the transporter form to produce corrosion-protective coatings on substrate surfaces; to mixtures that can be sintered; to MIM mixtures. |
