abstract The invention relates to a process for the preparation of cleaning tablets (1) using a base surfactant (2) having a surfactant content of at least 30 percent by weight with the addition of sodium bicarbonate (3) and citric acid (4). According to the invention easily soluble in water cleaning tablets (1) are produced with a high surfactant content in the citric acid (4) and sodium bicarbonate (3) in proportion to their proportion in the cleaning tablet (1) are ground to a homogeneous mixture (5) and then the homogeneous mixture (5) and the base surfactant (2) are combined in granular form in the appropriate ratio and mixed together to form a compressible concentrate powder (6).
