| abstract | A redundant communication system comprises a first controller for calculating the control command value of electric power equipment installed in a vehicle and outputting a first command signal and second command signal corresponding to the control command value; a second controller for controlling the electric power equipment according to one of the first control command value and second control command value corresponding to the first command signal and second command signal received from the first controller, respectively; a main communication line for transmitting the first command signal from the first controller to the second controller; and an auxiliary communication line for transmitting the second command signal from the first controller to the second controller. The second controller includes a main communication line abnormality judging means for judging that the main communication line is abnormal when the state in which the first command signal is not received or the state in which the first command signal is abnormal continues for predetermined time; and a control command value switching means for swichably selecting one of the first control command value and the second control command value. The control command value switching means performs the switching selection from the first command value to the second command value within the predetermined time between the start time of the state in which the first command signal is not received or the state in which the first command signal is abnormal and the time at which the main communication line abnormality judging means judges that the main communication line is abnormal. |
