abstract A vent assembly (120) is described for use in an extracorporeal fluid unit (100). A vent structure adjacent to a micro-porous membrane forms the assembly. The vent structure is porous and changes color when the vent structure becomes wet, thereby providing a visual indication that the vent structure has been exposed to liquid.
