titleOfInvention | Lactide/ -caprolactone copolymer for medical implant, method for producing lactide/ -caprolactone copolymer for medical implant, medical implant and artificial dura mater |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a flexible lactide-ε-caprolactone copolymer for a medical implant that is extremely safe as a result of not containing higher alcohol and is useful for fabricating medical implants requiring flexibility, such as artificial dura mater and artificial blood vessels. In addition, an object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing the lactide-ε-caprolactone copolymer for a medical implant, a medical implant and an artificial dura mater which are obtained by using the lactide-ε-caprolactone copolymer for a medical implant. n The present invention is a lactide-ε-caprolactone copolymer for a medical implants, wherein the molar ratio of a lactide to ε-caprolactone (lactide/ε-caprolactone) is 40/60 to 60/40, the weight average molecular weight is 100000 to 500000, a higher alcohol component is not contained therein, and the fusion enthalpy derived from a crystal when formed into a molding by heating and melting is 10 J/g or less. |
