A fused aromatic ring derivative shown by the following formula (1):n nwherein R a and R b are independently a hydrogen atom or a substituent; p is an integer of 1 to 13; q is an integer of 1 to 8; when p is two or more, plural R a s may be the same or different, and adjacent R a s may form a saturated or unsaturated ring; when q is two or more, plural R b s may be the same or different, and adjacent R b s may form a saturated or unsaturated ring; L 1 is a single bond or a substituted or unsubstituted divalent linking group; and Ar 1 is a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 50 ring carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group having 5 to 50 ring carbon atoms. |
