abstract |
A method of making an intraluminal medical device (10)(1206) having a plurality of openings (30) therein involves applying a mask (1202) to interior surfaces (1204) of a scaffold which has openings formed in it. A coating (1208) which includes an anti-thrombotic material is applied to the surfaces of the scaffold. The mask and any coating adhered to the mask are removed from the interior surfaces of the plurality of openings in the intraluminal scaffold. The openings are filled at least partially with one or more therapeutic agents (1210). |
