Electroluminescent device using electroluminescent compounds |
abstract |
Provided is an electroluminescent device including an organic layer interposed between an anode and a cathode on a substrate, wherein the organic layer includes an electroluminescent layer containing one or more dopant compound(s) represented by Chemical Formula 1 and one or more host compound(s) represented by Chemical Formula 2: nwith the proviso that at least one of Ar 1 through Ar 4 is 1- or 2-naphthyl with or without substituent; and nAr 10 -(An) a -Ar 20 (2) nIncluding an electroluminescent compound with an arylamine group substituted by at least one of 1- or 2-naphthyl, the disclosed electroluminescent device exhibits superior luminous efficiency, excellent color purity and very good operation life. |
