abstract The invention relates to a lock deflection apparatus for a motor vehicle, having a lock tongue (4) for insertion into a lock buckle and having a deflection body (1) connected to the lock tongue (4), said body being implemented in order to divide a seat belt (2) into a shoulder segment (7) and a pelvic segment (5) and deflect it such that the two segments (7, 5) branch off in different directions from the deflection body (1), according to the invention the deflection body (1) being connected via at least one longitudinally extending element (3) to the lock tongue (4), said element being at least sectionally wound around the deflection body (1).
