titleOfInvention Lyocell fiber
abstract The invention relates to a lyocell fiber containing a material that is selected from the group comprising pearl powder, ground mother of pearl, and mixtures thereof. A method for producing the fiber according to the invention encompasses the following steps: - a cellulose spinning solution is produced in an aqueous tertiary amine oxide, preferably N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide (NMMO); and - the spinning solution is spun into fibers. Said method is characterized in that a material that is selected from the group comprising pearl powder, ground mother of pearl, and mixtures thereof is mixed into the spinning solution and/or a precursor of the spinning solution.
