The present invention relates to cosmetic preparations for protection of the human skin and human hair against the harmful effects of ultraviolet solar radiation containing the water soluble UVA absorbing substance disodium phenyl dibenzimidazole tetrasulfonate together with troxerutin to quench the fluorescence of disodium phenyl dibenzimidazole tetrasulfonate, and corresponding methods of manufacturing such preparations and uses of troxerutin and disodium phenyl dibenzimidazole tetrasulfonate. |
