In this case, homogenizer (3 '') and laser medium are designed and arranged such that the pump beam emerging from the homogenizer (3 '') is guided directly onto or into the laser medium under divergence maintenance in the mixing axis (DA), the partial pump beams (TPS1 '',TPS2'') are projected directly onto or into the laser medium in a projection axis (PA) perpendicular to the mixing axis (DA), in particular being focused.
