abstract |
The invention relates to a method and a system for non-hazardous and efficient degradation of hydrazine and/or hydrazine sulfate by non-catalytic chemical oxidation for diluting any residual amounts of hydrazine and/or hydrazine sulfate in relevant material systems, preferably of hydrazine and/or hydrazine sulfate in spinning bath circulation systems for spinning bath regeneration in the production of poly-(p-phenylene-1,3,4-oxadiazole) filaments and fibers by using suitable oxidation means, and without requiring the further addition of catalysts. |
