abstract Vesicles for delivery of active macromolecules, such as oligoaminoacids, oligonucleotides, microRNA, siRNA, dsRNA, single stranded oligonucleotides, DNA, peptide nucleic acids, peptides, proteins, and some synthetic organic drugs which are made from amphiphilic segmented copolymers where one segment contains the active macromolecule. In one preferred embodiment, the active macromolecule is contained in the hydrophilic C segment of an amphiphilic ABC segmented copolymer.
